Interoperability
- Why it is important
|
|
MapInfo has always believed that
data exchange should be simple, transparent, and open.
To help achieve these goals, MapInfo has been one
of the active principal members of the Open
GIS Consortium (OGC) since 1995.
OGC brings a cross-section of the spatial world together.
By working with customers, universities, product integrators
and other vendors on interface definitions, MapInfo
increases the ability of our offerings to interoperate
with our customer's legacy products.
